SGT MICHAEL LUKE BOATRIGHT
US ARMY
Michael Boatright was born 21 Feburary, 1980, and graduated from Frisco High School. In 1997 he joined the Army and was trained to be a Combat Engineer. In Iraq he was a member of 20th Engineer Battalion, 1st Cavalry Division. On 4 December, 2004, his unit was involved in a combat operation in the city of Bagdad, when he was killed by a roadside bomb. Michael was 25 years old, and is buried among hundreds of other heroes at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio.
